New Prospect Students

Teaching students to be Christ followers who Love God, Serve Others, and Share Christ

Welcome to NP Students! Here's what you need to know:

  • We are the student ministry of New Prospect Baptist Church. We exist to serve the middle school and high school students of our church and community.

Everything we do is for this purpose: Teaching students how to be Christ Followers who Love God, Serve Others, and Share Christ.

Through this, our hope is that the students in our ministry will become adults who are strongly rooted in and growing in Christ.

  • The Gospel: We seek to help students understand the gospel, give them opportunities to respond to it, and teach them how to share it.

God’s Word: We seek to help students understand who God is, who they are, and the world we live in through the lens of God’s Word.

Discipleship: We seek to connect each student to a trusted adult who will walk alongside them, care for them, and help them understand how to apply God’s Word in their own lives.

Partnering with Parents: We believe that a parent is the most important influence in a student's life. We seek to help parents steward the call that God has placed on their lives to disciple their student.

Family: We seek to make sure all students feel like family. We want them to always feel welcomed, valued, cared for, and included. We seek to help students experience Biblical Community.

  • Student Worship

Wednesdays, 6:00-8:00 in the Student Building

Doors open to hangout at 6:00, Service/Small Groups 6:30-8:00

At Student Worship, students get the opportunity to hear the gospel preached, learn from God’s Word, engage in worship through music, take part in prayer, experience community and discipleship through small groups, and together be sent on mission to our homes, schools, and to our world!

    Sunday Bible Study

Sundays, 10:15am in the Student Building

Through a more in-depth Bible Study, students grow together in the knowledge, understanding, and application of God’s Word.

    Special Events

Be on the lookout for upcoming events!

All students are invited to the multiple special events that we hold throughout the year. These include youth group outings off campus and out of the ordinary events on campus. Special events provide opportunities for students to have fun, build relationships with each other, and make memories!

    Small Groups

These provide an opportunity for students to deepen their community with and grow spiritually alongside others similar to them (same age and gender). It also creates a space for students to be personally discipled, poured into, held accountable, and invested in by a leader.
